Job Title: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) – LPI Linux Training & Certifications

Location: Technovalley Headquarters, Kochi (Onsite)
Department: Advanced Knowledge Stack (AKS) – Infrastructure Technologies
Reports To: Chief Program Manager / Head – Technology Stacks

About the Role

Technovalley is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) to deliver advanced Linux administration and certification training under the LPI (Linux Professional Institute) certification track. The role involves mentoring learners, developing real-world lab environments, and ensuring students gain globally recognized Linux skills aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training & Academic Delivery

  • Conduct engaging classroom and lab sessions on Linux Administration, Shell Scripting, System Configuration, and Security.
  • Deliver structured training for LPI Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 certifications, and assist in Red Hat and other Linux-related programs.
  • Create and maintain virtual lab environments for hands-on learning.
  • Develop course materials, practice exams, and project-based assignments.
  • Evaluate learners’ progress through periodic assessments and provide mentoring support.

2. Technical Development & Support

  • Configure and maintain Linux-based training servers, virtualization platforms, and network setups.
  • Troubleshoot installation, performance, and network issues during practical sessions.
  • Support Technovalley’s consulting and certification projects in Linux and DevOps domains.

3. Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing

  • Guide and inspire students to pursue global Linux certifications (LPI, RHCSA, RHCE).
  • Stay updated on the latest Linux distributions, tools, and enterprise security practices.
  • Participate in webinars, workshops, and academic collaborations.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in Linux Administration, Networking, Shell Scripting, and Security Hardening.
  • Expertise in RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu / Debian environments.
  • Knowledge of LPI Certification framework, virtualization (KVM, VMware), and cloud integration (AWS/Azure).
  • Familiarity with Ansible, Docker, or DevOps practices is an added advantage.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines.
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) mandatory.
  • LPI Certified Linux Professional (LPIC-1/2/3) preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Linux administration, training, or consulting.
  • Experience as a faculty or trainer in reputed institutions will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
