About the Role:
We are hiring experienced IT Recruiters across levels to support high-volume and niche hiring for TCS, one of the world’s largest and most respected IT services organizations. The role demands hands-on experience working on TCS mandates, strong understanding of TCS hiring processes, vendor protocols, SLAs, and quality expectations, and the ability to deliver consistent results in a fast-paced staffing environment.
Depending on experience level, the role will involve individual contribution and mentoring junior recruiters for the TCS account.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Sourcing & Screening
- Work on end-to-end IT recruitment for TCS across technologies, roles, and experience levels.
- Source candidates through job portals, internal databases, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking.
- Screen resumes thoroughly against TCS job descriptions and evaluate technical fit, project exposure, communication, and stability.
- Conduct initial HR screening calls covering skills, experience, compensation, notice period, and TCS-specific criteria.
- Build and maintain a strong, reusable pipeline aligned to recurring TCS requirements.
2. Client & Process Alignment
- Work strictly as per TCS hiring guidelines, formats, trackers, and submission protocols.
- Ensure high-quality and timely submissions to meet SLAs.
- Understand TCS project needs, skill combinations, domain expectations, and location constraints.
3. Interview Coordination & Candidate Management
- Act as the single point of contact for candidates throughout the interview lifecycle.
- Provide interview feedback follow-ups and ensure candidate engagement to reduce dropouts.
- Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience aligned with TCS brand standards.
4. Offer Management & Onboarding Support
- Handle offer discussions, salary negotiations, documentation, and joining confirmations.
- Coordinate BGV initiation, onboarding documentation, and joining formalities as per TCS process.
- Track joiners and proactively manage offer dropouts and replacements.
5. Reporting, Compliance & ATS Management
- Maintain daily/weekly trackers for submissions, interviews, offers, and onboardings.
- Update ATS and client trackers accurately and in real time.
- Ensure process compliance, data accuracy, and audit readiness.
6. Additional Responsibilities by Level
For Recruiter (1–3 yrs):
- Handle assigned TCS requirements independently under defined guidelines and processes.
- Source candidates through job portals, databases, LinkedIn, and referrals to meet requirement expectations.
- Perform resume screening and initial HR screening calls to assess skill fit, communication, and basic TCS criteria.
- Ensure timely and quality submissions as per TCS formats, SLAs, and delivery standards.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain regular candidate follow-ups to reduce dropouts.
- Update ATS and client trackers accurately for submissions, interviews, offers, and joinings.
- Seek guidance when required and gradually build ownership towards managing requirements end-to-end.
- Follow TCS hiring guidelines, compliance norms, and internal recruitment SOPs consistently.
For Senior Recruiter (3–5 yrs):
- Handle complex and niche requirements independently.
- Guide junior recruiters on sourcing strategies and TCS expectations.
- Improve submission-to-interview and interview-to-offer ratios.
For Lead Recruiter (5–7 yrs):
- Independently manage and close end-to-end TCS requirements, contributing directly to interviews, offers, and onboardings.
- Own assigned requirements individually and ensure SLA adherence, quality submissions, and timely closures.
- Provide limited handholding and functional support to recruiters when required, without day-to-day people management.
- Support team members on complex or critical requirements through guidance on sourcing, screening, and process alignment.
- Act as a support point for issue resolution related to process clarifications, quality alignment, or delivery challenges.
- Follow and reinforce TCS hiring guidelines, best practices, and compliance standards while working independently.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Hands-on experience working on TCS requirements is mandatory (vendor or staffing firm experience).
- Strong understanding of IT skills, technologies, and hiring models.
- Proven ability to work in a target-driven, SLA-bound staffing environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ATS tools, and recruitment trackers.
