We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Recruiter (Non-Technical) to join our team. This role will support our on-site academies in Canada and the USA , assisting the HR team in identifying hiring needs, sourcing and screening candidates, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and will be detail-oriented and up-to-date with employment legislation. Duties and responsibilities: Identify current and future hiring needs in collaboration with department managers. Develop and maintain clear, accurate job descriptions and candidate specifications aligned with organizational goals. Attract and engage qualified candidates using online job boards, social media platforms, internal talent pools, and professional networks. Conduct initial candidate screenings via phone or in person and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the recruitment process. Evaluate applicants’ skills, qualifications, and cultural fit through interviews and resume reviews. Shortlist, qualify, or reject candidates based on feedback and selection criteria to ensure high-quality hires. Manage the new hire documentation process and support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition into the organization. Stay informed on employment legislation and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies. Provide regular recruitment updates and insights to department managers. Assist in creating and maintaining HR documentation such as policies, forms, reports, and job descriptions. Meet weekly recruitment activity targets related to outreach and follow-up communications. Essential skills and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in recruitment processes and HR databases, preferably within the early childhood education sector (public and private schools). Proven ability to design and implement effective recruitment strategies , with a strong track record of meeting hiring quotas and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills , coupled with strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Solid understanding of employment laws and HR compliance , and proficiency in using the Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). This is a full-time, remote position (Chennai only) with working hours from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST , requiring a high level of energy, professionalism, and self-motivation .
