Job Description

A Non-IT recruiter must shoulder several responsibilities when it comes to hiring in the non-IT sector. The primary role of a non-IT recruiter is to put forth an employee value proposition and attract, screen, interview and onboard talent in the non-IT sector. Let us now look in more detail at the responsibilities of a non-IT recruiter.

  1. Handling clients in various industries and finding new candidates that closely match their needs
  2. Staying in the know of up-and-coming job requirements in any given sector and ascertain how job roles might change in the future
  3. Posting job descriptions, as per the clients requirements, on social media, career websites and other job portals
  4. Forwarding candidate profiles to clients after picking the best after sourcing and interviewing them
  5. Strategizing the process of recruitment to attract only the right candidates for a given position
  6. Promoting your company as a great place to work and substantiating that with workplace fitness and culture
  7. Submitting quarterly and annual reports to the hiring managers on the state of hiring in the companies you work for and in the industry in general.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Hiring Needs :

    Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific needs, job requirements, and team goals.
  • Sourcing and Attracting Candidates:

    Develop and implement recruitment strategies, utilize various channels (job boards, social media, industry networks), and build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Screening and Interviewing:

    Review resumes, screen applications, conduct interviews (phone, in-person), and assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Managing the Hiring Process:

    Coordinate the recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to offer negotiations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Candidate Experience:

    Maintain positive communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the process, building relationships and promoting the company's reputation.
  • Reporting and Analytics:

    Track recruitment metrics, provide data-driven insights to improve recruitment strategies, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Onboarding Support:

    Assist with the onboarding of new hires, providing necessary information and resources.
