Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at our company, your role involves researching, recruiting, screening, interviewing, and referring qualified candidates for non-exempt positions. You should have considerable skill in interviewing techniques, knowledge of manufacturing and specialized functions within our company, a general understanding of our personnel policies and procedures, and a basic understanding of federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Your key responsibilities include: - Partnering with managers and supervisors to determine the qualifications required for various positions - Developing and maintaining a network of contacts to source qualified candidates - Initiating contact with potential candidates, conducting initial screenings, and scheduling interviews - Reviewing applications and interviewing applicants to gather necessary information and provide details about the organization and positions - Writing and placing job advertisements, including internet postings - Coordinating career fairs and participating in recruitment efforts - Developing and sharing internet recruiting techniques with colleagues - Providing information on company facilities and job opportunities to candidates - Maintaining records in compliance with Federal, State, AAP, and EEOC requirements - Making public presentations at various events regarding recruiting and organizational opportunities - Coordinating travel arrangements for candidates as needed - Preparing offer letters for prospective candidates and ensuring adherence to compensation guidelines - Driving continuous improvement through trend reporting and metrics management - Partnering with the training department to coordinate schedules for new hires - Offering new ideas and suggestions for improvement in recruiting practices - Demonstrating a commitment to customer service and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures - Exchanging knowledge with other facilities within the company to share best practices In terms of qualifications, you should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and training, along with 3 to 4 years of experience in non-IT roles, specifically in engineering hiring. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook is also required for this role.,
