Job Description

About the Role

Recovery Officer

Key Responsibilities

Follow up rigorously with clients for
collection of pending outstanding payments
.
Maintain an updated tracker of ageing receivables, follow-up status, commitments, and escalations.
Communicate professionally and persistently with client finance teams, procurement teams, and decision-makers to drive resolution.
Prepare MIS reports, summaries, reminders, and payment schedules using
Microsoft Excel
.
Coordinate with the company's
legal team and external advocates
for escalated cases, delayed payments, or dispute-heavy accounts.
Draft and send formal written reminders, notices, and communication in alignment with legal and company guidelines.
Support management with weekly updates, action plans, and follow-up documentation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Preference:
Retired Bank Officer or Ex-Banking Professional with collections / compliance / legal liaison experience.
Strong understanding of
collections, receivables, and financial documentation
.
Must be proficient in
Microsoft Excel
(basic formulas, data tracking, reporting).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a firm and professional approach.
Ability to handle difficult customer conversations with patience, tact, and persistence.
Organized, ethical, disciplined, and deadline-driven.
Ability to independently manage tasks with minimal supervision.
