Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional with over 5 years of experience in SAP Finance Business Specialist/Sr. Business Specialist to join our team in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Roles and Responsibility

Provide business-facing support and development for various applications in SAP Finance GL, AR, AP, FSCM, Open Text.
Lead the execution of different project activities and ensure smooth execution of critical business processes.
Collaborate with business teams, technical teams, and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities.
Capture requirements related to business problems and transform them into solution designs.
Manage and perform the design, configuration, and testing of SAP and other applications for projects, upgrades, implementations, and rollouts.
Maintain system performance and reliability by following procedures, analyzing root causes, and implementing continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or any postgraduate degree; CA, ICWA/CMA is preferred.
In-depth knowledge in General accounting, Accounts Payable & Receivable, SAP Banking, Open text, and FSCM Credit Management is advantageous.
Strong core process knowledge about manufacturing/consumer-based industries.
Deliver day-to-day application support, including responses to emergencies (24x7).
Ability to independently connect with business to understand requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Ability to function as a support coordinator, balancing resource loads and tracking SLA progress.
Draft functional specifications for developers for specific custom developments.
Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and changes in SAP development and other technologies, adapting to these changes through self-training and research.
Mentor and coach junior developer resources.
