Here’s a professional Job Description for an E-commerce Accountant / Reconciliation Executive : Job Title: E-commerce Accountant / Reconciliation Executive Location : Netaji Subhash Place (NSP), Delhi Experience: 1-4 Years (Must have experience in E-commerce portals like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.) Job Responsibilities: ✔ Reconciliation of online sales from E-commerce portals like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc. ✔ Verify sales reports, commission charges, deductions, and payments from marketplaces. ✔ Identify payment discrepancies, shortages, or excess deductions, and coordinate for resolution. ✔ Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for online portal sales. ✔ Maintain accurate records of returns, claims, and chargebacks. ✔ Monthly reconciliation of payouts with sales and tax invoices. ✔ Collaborate with internal accounts team for GST, TDS, and compliance checks. ✔Track settlement cycles and ensure timely payment follow-ups. ✔ Assist in preparing MIS reports for management review. Key Requirements: ✅ Good knowledge of E-commerce platforms: Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc. ✅ Experience in sales reconciliation, payment tracking, and financial reporting. ✅ Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.) ✅ Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory deductions related to E-commerce. ✅ Attention to detail and problem-solving attitude.
