Job Summary:

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The role involves managing front-desk operations, patient coordination, appointments, and ensuring a polite, organized, and efficient front office experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors courteously and assist them appropriately
Manage patient registrations, OPD entries, and appointment scheduling
Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and direct them to concerned departments
Maintain patient records, files, and daily registers accurately
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, billing, and diagnostic departments
Inform patients about hospital services, procedures, and timings
Collect and hand over patient documents, reports, and forms
Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the reception area
Handle basic billing coordination and cash counter support (if required)

Administrative Duties:

Update daily OPD and appointment reports
Maintain visitor logs and call records
Assist administration with basic documentation and reporting

Skills & Competencies:

Good communication skills (Hindi & basic English preferred)
Polite, patient, and professional attitude
Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Hospital Software)
Ability to handle pressure and multitask

Qualifications:

Minimum 12th pass (Graduate preferred)
Diploma / certificate in front office or computer applications is an advantage
