R&D Technical Market Analysis

Role Overview: You will be assisting an R&D ICC Technical Market Analysis team based in Hyderabad. Your main responsibility will involve conducting scientific, competitive, market, and desk research, consumer testing, and new idea feasibility analysis. Your role will contribute to the overall Market Analysis capability by collaborating with in-market teams to provide accurate and relevant research outputs. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and define the objectives of research projects and determine the best methods to achieve those objectives. - Conduct market analysis, identify consumer needs, and perform consumer/product/desk research and testing activities as per global requests and ad hoc inquiries. - Compile data on competitors" products, strategies, channel dynamics, sales, marketing, R&D, or distribution methods. - Benchmark R&D capabilities against other companies in the CPG/FMCG/Food and Beverage/Health and Nutrition/Life Science industries. - Summarize and analyze data, and provide recommendations based on research findings. - Ensure timely processing, documentation, and delivery of all requests within defined SLAs. - Report findings with graphs illustrating data and written text explaining complex findings. - Scan through scientific research (patents, literature, clinical trials) to correlate with business/market trends and define technical direction. - Conduct new idea feasibility analysis to generate insights for R&D advancement. - Deliver reports and presentations of findings concisely and structured manner to executive leadership. - Foster working relationships with other ICC Technical Market Analysis teams in Hyderabad. - Identify potential areas for process improvements and employee upskilling, making recommendations for continuous capability/employee development to the Market Analysis team lead. Qualifications: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. - Detail-oriented with business problem-solving, logical reasoning, and advanced analytical research skills. - Strong organizational and communication skills for delivering and reporting insights from scientific research and analysis. - Understanding of Service Management processes. - Effective time management across multiple priorities and projects to ensure timely delivery of requests. - Experience in a large global CPG/FMCG/Food and Beverage/Health and Nutrition company, with knowledge of performance outputs and measures. - Exposure to MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word. - Fluent in English. - Bachelor's degree required (Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Pharma, or any other science field); Master's degree a plus (MBA, MLS, MLIS, or any other science field). - 5-6 years of prior work experience in a similar or related field.,
