As we continue to expand our product line, we're looking for an R&D Engineer to join our lab and drive the next wave of product improvements, ensuring every tool we offer is powerful, efficient, and best-in-class.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct In-Depth Product Testing: Perform rigorous hands-on quality and performance testing for our existing range of power tools, such as drill machines, grinders, and more, within the Buildskill lab.
• Analyse Performance Metrics: Measure and analyse key data points, including rotational speed (RPM), power consumption (wattage), operational efficiency, and overall drilling/cutting experience.
• Drive Product Improvement: Use test data to identify opportunities for improvisation. Your focus will be on enhancing tool performance and finding the most economical and efficient component selections, rather than creating new products from scratch.
• Optimize and Calibrate: Determine the optimal balance between performance and electricity consumption to recommend improvements for more energy-efficient and cost-effective products.
• Develop Testing Protocols: Design and document standardized testing procedures to ensure consistent and reliable data collection for all products.
• Collaborate for Innovation: Work closely with product and manufacturing teams to translate your findings and recommendations into tangible product enhancements.

Who You Are

· Educated in Engineering: You hold a degree in Electrical & Communication Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

· Experienced in Testing: You have high experience in the testing of tools and a deep understanding of how to measure their performance and efficiency.

· Lab Professional: You have proven hands-on experience working in a dedicated lab environment, which could include university labs, corporate R&D labs, or even IT labs.

· Analytical and Detail-Oriented: You are skilled at collecting and interpreting technical data to make informed decisions and recommendations. You have a sharp eye for detail.

· Problem Solver: You are passionate about tinkering, improving, and solving complex technical challenges to make a good product even better.

· A Collaborative Innovator: You are a proactive communicator who can work effectively with cross-functional teams to bring improvements to life.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
