1. Job Purpose:

The Research & Development Head will lead the development of new polymer-based products and processes. This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience in polymer chemistry and product development. The position focuses on innovation, cost optimization, and sustainable solutions within the polymer composites domain.

2. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new polymer-based products and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Drive innovation in sustainable and cost-effective composite materials.
• Handle and analyze data from instruments such as Viscometer, TGA, DSC, ATR, Moisture Titrator, and Gas Chromatography.
• Manage product design, testing, and validation for new technologies.
• Oversee R&D budgets, project timelines, and deliverables.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in polymer resin chemistry.
• Build partnerships with academic and research institutions to strengthen R&D initiatives.

3. Job Specification – Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Education:
Ph.D. or Postgraduate from IIT / reputed institute with specialization in Polymer Chemistry or Polymer Composites.

Experience:
Minimum 7 years of experience in polymer composites with a proven record of leading new product and technology development.
