Job Description for the post of QS Planning Engineer
Location: Medchal Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities:
1.Quantity Surveying & BOQ Preparation:
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on project drawings and specifications.
Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimation for infrastructure & Construction projects.
Ensure compliance with project requirements and contractual agreements.
2. Project Planning & Scheduling:
Develop and monitor project schedules.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of works.
Identify and mitigate project risks affecting cost and time.
3. Billing & Cost Management
Prepare and verify RA bills, subcontractor bills, and final settlements.
Ensure timely cer98iutification of bills from clients and consultants.
Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
5. Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with site engineers, procurement teams, and clients.
Prepare progress reports, cash flow statements, and budget forecasts.
Assist in claims management and contract variations.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in quantity surveying, planning, and billing for infrastructure & Construction projects. Preferred experience in Villas and apartment construction project.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel.
Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Salary: 4LPA to 6LPA based on experience
