What would you do?
We are looking for a diligent and technically sound Quantity Surveyor to deliver accurate quantity take-offs, support the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and maintain the highest standards of measurement integrity for construction projects in the UK and Europe. The role involves collaboration with senior QS professionals and mentoring junior staff to ensure quality output across all deliverables. Manages the full lifecycle of large-scale infrastructure and capital assets, from strategic planning and engineering to construction, operations, and compliance. Quantity Surveying manages costs in construction by estimating, budgeting, and controlling project expenses.
What are we looking for?
- Proficient in digital take-off and measurement tools such as CostX, Autocad, or Mudshark.
- Sound understanding of RICS measurement standards (NRM2, SMM7, CESMM4).
- Advanced knowledge of construction drawings, materials, and project documentation.
- Strong skills in MS Excel, formulas, and project data organization. ?? Measurement & Take-Offs
- Review and interpret architectural, structural, and services drawings and specifications before commencing measurement.
- Create and structure dimension groups within CostX in line with the agreed project framework.
- Perform accurate and complete take-offs for all the packages, ensuring dynamic links to drawings wherever possible.
- Incorporate manual take-offs, calculations, and annotations within Level 3 of the CostX workbook for full traceability.
- Calibrate all PDF drawings using stated dimensions prior to measurement to ensure accuracy. ?? BoQ Preparation & Documentation
- Prepare draft Bills of Quantities in line with NRM2, CESMM4, or other UK-standard methods of measurement.
- Complete project BoQ cover sheets using company-standard templates, including: o Drawing list with revision numbers o Specifications referenced o Clarifications, assumptions, and notes
- Ensure abstracted quantities and linked working sheets match the final BoQ output.
- Validate all live links, formulas, and quantities before presenting BoQs for final review. ? Technical Queries & Quality Control
- Identify and raise Technical Queries (TQs) through the internal register regarding: Roles and Responsibilities:
- In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of lower-complexity problems
- Your day to day interaction is with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors

- You will be given moderate level instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instructions on new assignments
