Job Description

Quantity Estimation Engineer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for tiling, flooring, plastering, painting, false ceiling, and other finishing works.
  • Review drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in estimation.
  • Prepare and update BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for budgeting, cost analysis, and tendering.
  • Coordinate with the purchase department for vendor quotations, rate analysis, and finalization of work orders.
  • Verify contractor bills against actual executed quantities.
  • Maintain proper records of estimation, cost sheets, and material requirements.
  • Provide support to project and site teams for cost control and planning.
  • Ensure alignment between design, estimation, and procurement for smooth project execution.


Requirements:

  • Education:

     Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Construction preferred).

  • Experience:

     Minimum 

    10 years

     in quantity estimation with a reputed real estate developer or contracting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of finishing works, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
  • Good communication and coordination skills to work with purchase and site teams.
