Quantitative Developer

Job Description

Role: Quantitative Developer Working time: EST ( 6:30 PM to 3:30 PM ) Location: Remote ( Pan-India ) Key Responsibilities: • Experience in creating and testing financial models and forecasts for various asset classes. • Building systematic trading systems, including algorithmic and automated trading strategies, to execute predefined rules and mathematical models. • Translate the ideas of quantitative researchers into working code for trading strategies. • Specializes in developing, implementing, and maintaining the software and tools used by quantitative analysts. • Design and Develop solutions for automated portfolio optimization for fixed income ETFs • Write, review, and debug secure production code to ensure high-quality software development. • Develop and maintain live system using Python, R, and SQL for front office tools. • Monitor software development to ensure alignment with established goals. • Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements and define IT System objectives. • Oversee software configuration, customization and enhancement to optimize system performance. • Develop unit tests and maintain coding standards for software applications. • Conduct code reviews, address issues, and ensure best practice. • Mentor and guide junior team members, providing coaching and feedback as needed. Educational Requirement: • Bachelor’s Degree Required Work Experience: • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years preferred. • Technical skills; R ( 3+ Years ), Python (5+ Years ), SQL ( 5+ Years ) • Knowledge and experience in optimization algorithms and frameworks; Mixed integer programming, Linear optimization, CVXPY, Gurobi etc. • Fixed Income/ Capital markets experience: Preferred 3+ Years • Cloud ( AWS 3+ Years ) • Experience in AI is a plus ( optional ) Show more Show less
