Job Description: Quality Supervisor

Position: Quality Supervisor
Location: [Sarigam Plant]
Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Reporting To: Quality Manager / Plant Head

Role Objective:

The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and improving the quality of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods. The role ensures compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory norms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection & Testing
• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality checks.
• Verify raw material quality and maintain rejection/acceptance records.
• Ensure adherence to product specifications and quality standards.
• Process Monitoring
• Supervise quality procedures during production.
• Identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production staff to resolve quality issues in real-time.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain daily inspection records and quality reports.
• Prepare defect reports, trend analysis, and improvement suggestions.
• Support in audits (internal & external).
• Team Supervision
• Guide and train quality inspectors/operators.
• Ensure discipline and compliance with safety & quality protocols.
• Continuous Improvement
• Suggest process improvements to reduce defects and wastage.
• Support in implementation of ISO / quality certifications.
• Monitor customer complaints and assist in root cause analysis.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of quality control methods (visual inspection, measuring tools, testing procedures).
• Familiar with ISO/quality standards and documentation.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or relevant field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a quality-related role, preferably in manufacturing / recycling / plastics / paper / panel boards.
• Knowledge of MS Office and QC tools will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
