Quality Manager

Job Title: Quality Manager – Quality Control / Quality Assurance, Sheet Metal (Press Shop)
Location: Bhiwadi, Rajasthan

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Quality Control function for the press shop, plating, and assembly areas.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of sheet metal parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications for sheet metal components.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments including Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Dial Gauges, etc., for quality checks.
• Identify quality issues, root causes, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with production and tooling teams.
• Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, rejection analysis, and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, ISO requirements, and customer specifications.

Candidate Requirements:

• 08–12 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, particularly in sheet metal, press shop, and plating operations.
• Strong background in Sheet Metal and similar MS/SS metal components.
• Proven ability to implement new quality systems, SOPs, and inspection standards.
• In-depth knowledge of inspection tools and techniques used in sheet metal manufacturing.
• Excellent ability to identify quality deviations, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Proficient in documentation, reporting, and audit compliance.
• Strong coordination skills to work effectively with production, tooling, and plating teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Certification in quality standards such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or related quality systems would be an advantage.
