Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Quality Engineer to join our Brand SIA (Steel Infra Agro). If you are a quality-driven professional with a passion for collaboration and creating a culture of excellence, this is the perfect opportunity for you! You will work alongside a team of Quality Engineers to ensure the highest quality standards through process-oriented approaches. Your expertise in PPAP, QC Tools, CAPA, Defect Analysis, and Control Plans will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance:

• Implement process-oriented approaches to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct defect analysis and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve and prevent issues.

2. Process Optimisation:

• Optimise processes to reduce defects, downtime, and improve efficiency while maintaining high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of quality standards across all operations.

3. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of quality assurance activities, including control plans and defect analysis reports.
• Prepare and review PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation.

4. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the team of Quality Engineers to foster a quality-focused environment.
• Collaborate with production, design, and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular training and development sessions to enhance their skills and knowledge.

5. Quality Tools & Techniques:

• Utilise QC Tools effectively to monitor and control quality processes according to the company’s quality standards and specifications.
• Develop and implement Control Plans to ensure consistent product quality.
• Implement corrective actions to minimise product rework.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
• Encourage and support quality initiatives that enhance overall performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in quality assurance and process improvement.
• Proficiency in soft tools like AUTOCAD.
• Proficiency in PPAP, QC Tools, CAPA, Defect Analysis, and Control Plans.
• Strong documentation and organisational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a culture of quality.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in Quality Management Systems (QMS), Six Sigma, or similar are a plus.
