Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and quality control operations in the spices FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance as per FSSAI and other regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Oversee and manage all quality control and quality assurance activities in the spices manufacturing unit.
• • Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, SOPs, and HACCP standards.
• • Monitor raw material, in-process, and finished product quality to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• • Conduct regular audits of production processes, packaging, storage, and hygiene practices.
• • Lead the QA/QC team and provide training to maintain quality awareness among staff.
• • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality standards of incoming materials.
• • Handle customer complaints and non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• • Maintain accurate documentation, test reports, and quality certificates.
• • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, GMP, and other relevant standards.
• • Coordinate with R&D and production teams for product quality improvements and new product development.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• • B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field.
• • 5 – 10 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control in the spices or FMCG sector.
• • Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards.
• • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and leadership qualities.
• • Good communication and documentation skills.
