The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance as per FSSAI and other regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage all quality control and quality assurance activities in the spices manufacturing unit. • Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, SOPs, and HACCP standards. • Monitor raw material, in-process, and finished product quality to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. • Conduct regular audits of production processes, packaging, storage, and hygiene practices. • Lead the QA/QC team and provide training to maintain quality awareness among staff. • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality standards of incoming materials. • Handle customer complaints and non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Maintain accurate documentation, test reports, and quality certificates. • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, GMP, and other relevant standards. • Coordinate with R&D and production teams for product quality improvements and new product development. Desired Candidate Profile: • B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field. • 5 – 10 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control in the spices or FMCG sector. • Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards. • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and leadership qualities. • Good communication and documentation skills.
