Job Overview:

Quality Engineer / Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain

  quality management systems (QMS)

  and production standards to ensure consistent manufacturing quality.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of

  manufacturing processes

  such as CNC, VMC, conventional, and grinding machines.
• Conduct

  quality inspections

  for raw materials, in-process components, subcontracted work, and finished products.
• Manage

  supplier and vendor quality performance

  , ensuring incoming materials meet specified standards.
• Prepare and implement

  quality policies

  ,

  process audits

  , and

  ISO/IATF audits

  as per business and customer requirements.
• Handle

  PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)

  ,

  control plans

  ,

  8D reports

  , and other quality documentation.
• Support

  New Product Development (NPD)

  by reviewing drawings, identifying processes, fixtures, tooling, and gauges.
• Monitor and maintain

  MIS reports

  related to rejections, rework, customer complaints, manpower performance, 5S implementation, and PPM targets.
• Perform

  root cause analysis

  and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring issues.
• Collaborate closely with production, design, and procurement teams to enhance quality standards and reduce defects.
  
• Analyze

  quality performance data

  to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the

  quality team

  to achieve departmental goals and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
  
• Minimum

  5 years of experience

  in quality assurance or manufacturing quality control.
• Strong knowledge of

  ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant quality systems

  .
• Proficiency in

  PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, and 8D problem-solving techniques

  .
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  
• Hands-on experience in using measurement instruments and interpreting engineering drawings.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and lead cross-functional quality initiatives.
