Job Description

Job Overview:

NPD Engineer / Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute

    New Product Development (NPD)

    activities in alignment with customer requirements, timelines, and specifications.
  • Review and analyze

    customer RFQs, drawings, and technical documents

    to assess feasibility and finalize manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct

    feasibility studies

    based on customer drawings and define appropriate process parameters.
  • Develop

    process flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions

    for new and modified products.
  • Identify and prepare

    tooling, fixtures, gauges, and special equipment

    required for sample and production development.
  • Collaborate with

    TFG suppliers

    and vendors to identify and implement the most efficient and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to

    APQP, PPAP, and other customer-specific quality standards

    throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and vendors for the procurement of raw materials, tooling, and outsourced processes.
  • Possess strong technical understanding of

    CNC, VMC, grinding, and conventional machining processes

    .
  • Drive

    process optimization initiatives

    including cost reduction, cycle time improvement, and productivity enhancement for both new and existing products.
  • Ensure compliance with

    quality, safety, and environmental standards

    across all NPD activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation and reports to support audits and quality reviews.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of

    precision machining component manufacturing processes

  • Proficiency in

    APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and process documentation

  • Strong

    analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

    .
  • Excellent

    communication and presentation skills

    for effective customer and internal interactions.
  • Good command over

    MS Office tools
