Quality Inspector

The Production Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all manufactured products meet the required quality standards before they are dispatched. The role involves inspecting raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods, maintaining proper records, and coordinating with the production team to ensure continuous improvement in product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products as per quality standards.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges).
• Identify, document, and report any non-conformities or defects.
• Maintain inspection records, reports, and rejection logs accurately.
• Ensure that only quality-approved products move to the next production stage or dispatch.
• Support the production team in identifying and resolving quality-related issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality checklists.
• Ensure compliance with company quality policies and safety standards.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Participate in regular training and audits related to quality control.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma / ITI / B.E/Any degree (preferably in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial disciplines).
• Experience: 0–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (Freshers can also apply).
• Technical Skills:
• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring instruments.
• Understanding of ISO standards and quality documentation.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Time management and reporting accuracy.
