Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for ensuring all finished goods meet BPI’s quality standards and customer requirements before dispatch. The Quality Inspector (Final Inspection) will supervise the final inspection team, conduct dimensional and visual checks, and ensure accurate reporting in the ERP.

Key Responsibilities

Perform PDIR (Pre-Dispatch Inspection Reports) for all shipments.Lead, manage, and train Final Inspection Inspectors to ensure robust inspection practices.Conduct final product verification as per drawings, tolerances, and international standards.Approve daily inspection logs and quality records in the ERP system.Analyze daily defects, maintain rework & rejection records, and document defect trends.Work closely with the Production Team to reduce defects and improve quality levels.Provide CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions) for repeated issues.Update SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and inspection standards weekly.Prepare monthly defect analysis reports and support data-driven decision-making.Create One Point Lessons (OPLs) for inspector and operator training.Lead and maintain the assigned 5S zone to ensure workplace organization.Ensure adherence to standards such as DIN / ISO / ANSI / ACME.Support internal & customer audits with correct documentation and traceability.---

Qualifications

Minimum: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of experience, including 2 years in the same organization.OR: B.Tech (Mechanical/Automobile/Industrial) – Freshers are also eligible.Strong understanding of QC/QA processes and inspection methodologies.Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerance systems.Experience with precision machined components, fasteners, or automotive parts preferred.Skilled in using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Gauges, Hardness Tester, Surface Roughness Tester, etc.).Knowledge of ERP-based quality documentation.Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented approach.Familiarity with international standards (DIN/ISO/ANSI/ACME).---

Eligibility Criteria

Interview will be conducted on-site at Rohtak only.Candidates must currently reside in Haryana OR be willing to relocate to Haryana.Only candidates meeting this requirement will be considered.
