Job Description

Silicon Castech Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a shop-floor–driven Quality Engineer with hands-on exposure to HPDC, machining, and finishing operations. This role requires active involvement on the production floor and real-time quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• In-process, final, and pre-dispatch inspection of die-cast and machined components
• Quality monitoring during HPDC, trimming, buffing, machining, lacquering, and finishing
• Dimensional inspection of OD/ID, drilling, tapping, and critical characteristics
• Identification and handling of non-conformances
• Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
• Preparation and maintenance of inspection and quality records
• Coordination with production and tooling teams to reduce rejection and rework
• Ensure compliance with internal and customer quality standards

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Experience in Aluminium High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC)
• Working knowledge of CNC machines, SPMs, trimming, buffing, and surface finishing
• Proficient with measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.)
• Knowledge of Control Plans, NCR, RCA, CAPA
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts

Qualification

• Diploma / BE / BTech – Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing
