Quality Engineer

Job Title: Senior Engineer.

Department: Supplier & Inhouse Quality
Location: Rajkot & Jamnagar
Reports To: Quality Manager.
Industry: Locking Systems Manufacturing (Mechanical)

Job Purpose:

To ensure that products meet established quality standards through systematic auditing of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished goods. The QC/QA Auditor will be responsible for identifying non-conformities, recommending corrective actions, and verifying implementation.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Supplier Quality / QC & QA Auditor to ensure that supplied finished products meet the quality standards required for our locking systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular supplier audits (process, product, and system audits) based standards
• Perform in-process and final product inspections of mechanical locks Kitchen & furniture accessories (E.g Handle, latches, cylinders, smart lock Etc.)
• Use precision measuring tools (E.g vernier callipers, micrometres, gauges) to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Validation of material testing (e.g., Life cycle testing, salt spray testing for corrosion, Material testing etc).
• Record and track non-conformities, perform root cause analysis (RCA)
• Audit & Reporting:
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and improvement suggestions.
• Maintain inspection records, audit logs and compliance documentation.

Quality Assurance:

• Corrective actions and follow up on closure of non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across production, assembly, and packaging.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in QC/QA roles in the mechanical hardware or locking industry.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 is an advantage.
• Knowledge of machining, die casting, powder coating, and assembly processes.

Technical Skills: Skills & Competencies:

• knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and material specifications.
• Documentation, communication, and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with metal stamping, die casting, Powder coating & electroplating and assembly processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,661.93 - ₹65,567.54 per month

• QC: 3 years (Preferred)
