Job Description: Quality Engineer Post: Quality Engineer Qualification: D.E / B.E Experience: 1-3 years (preferred) Skills & Competencies: • Proficiency in use of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.). • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. • Knowledge of 8D problem solving methodology. • Experience in QMS documentation and ISO standards. • Knowledge of root cause analysis and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action). • Good communication and team training skills. • Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Job Responsibilities: • Conduct in-process, pre-dispatch, and inward inspection of parts and prepare reports. • Maintain records of calibration of instruments, inspection reports, and quality alerts. • Implement corrective action if any defect is found during inspection. • Provide training to team members to avoid repeated mistakes. • Work on reducing rejection percentage of parts. • Conduct First Sample Inspection Report (FSIR) for mass production parts. • Face customer QMS audits and prepare/present required
