Quality Engineer

Job summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong SDET to join our QA team. This role combines software development with quality assurance, focusing on building and maintaining automation frameworks, testing API's, validating backend systems, and ensuring end-to-end application quality. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, BCA/MCA or related field Strong academic background in programming, algorithms, and software engineering Skills Competencies Programming: Proficient in Java or Python Automation: Exposure to Selenium, Appium (for mobile automation), TestNG, JUnit/PyTest. API Testing: Hands-on with Postman, understanding of RESTful APls Backend: Basic experience with MongoDB and SQL for data validation Tools: Familiarity with Git, Jenkins (or any Cl/CD tool) is a plus Testing Concepts: Good grasp of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, test types Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, strong communication skills Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automation test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications Perform backend validation using SQL and MongoDB queries Validate REST APls using tools like Postman or automated scripts Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage Report, track, and document defects and test results Contribute to the continuous improvement of test frameworks and Cl pipelines Stay updated with trends in automation, mobile testing, and QA practices Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: QA Engineer: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
