Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the quality management system at the site to ensure that all materials and construction activities meet project specifications, drawings, and relevant standards. The role involves conducting inspections, preparing test reports, and coordinating with consultants and contractors for quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all site works for drainage, roads, and structures are executed as per approved drawings and quality standards.
• Conduct inspection and testing of materials such as concrete, aggregates, steel, pipes, and backfill materials.
• Coordinate with laboratory teams for field and laboratory tests (e.g., cube tests, compaction tests, slump, sieve analysis).
• Maintain records of all inspection and test results as per the Quality Management Plan (QMP).
• Review and verify material test certificates and mix design approvals.
• Prepare and maintain quality checklists, method statements, and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
• Monitor concreting, reinforcement, shuttering, and finishing quality during execution.
• Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal audits and support external quality audits.
• Coordinate with consultants and client representatives for inspections and approvals.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• B.Tech / B.E or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control for civil infrastructure or drainage projects.
• Sound knowledge of IS codes, MoRTH specifications, and QA/QC procedures.
• Experience with material testing and quality documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
• Strong observation, analytical, and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
