Quality Engineer (Injection Moulding)

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with strong knowledge of injection molding processes and quality systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in inspections, audits, documentation, and problem-solving as per industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process inspection and ensure quality checks at all stages.
• Perform FPA (First Piece Approval) and LPA (Layered Process Audit); understand and monitor injection molding process parameters.
• Analyze customer and in-house complaints, prepare countermeasure reports, and handle Red Bin analysis.
• Carry out Process & Product Audits as per standards.
• Manage and implement 4M change (Man, Machine, Material, Method) controls.
• Monitor PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection), inspection results, sampling plans, and incoming inspection processes.
• Prepare and maintain QMS documents as per IATF 16949:2016 requirements.
• Interpret technical drawings and conduct detailed parts inspection.
• Use measuring instruments: Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Push-Pull Gauge, etc.
• Identify and troubleshoot molding defects.
• Prepare basic Excel reports and PPT presentations.
• Support continuous improvement activities using Poka-Yoke, Kaizen, 5S, and GD&T concepts.

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of mechanical and injection molding processes
• Knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation
• Basic MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
