Quality Engineer

We Requires Quality Engineer - Mechanical for a Manufacturing Company at Pune

Position : Quality Engineer - Mechanical

Location : Pune, Talawade

Exp : Min 2Yrs

Presently we have an opening for Engineer - Quality who will responsible for ensuring quality of products as desired by customers. His role will be of conducting stage wise internal inspection, preparation of reports, offering to the customer or TPI and get cleared from them.

Responsibilities:

1. Reading of QAP, drawings, datasheets, P&I Ds, and ensure compliance to the requirements

2. Comply with various codes and standards.

3. Review of WPS/PQR/WPQ and prepare weld plans.

4. Preparation of offerings for lab tests and NDT.

5. Review of NDT reports and prepare summary.

6. Stage wise inspection and preparation of accurate reports like – Material heat chart, dimensions reports, fit up report, weld visual inspection report, hydro test reports, performance reports.

7. Inspection of blasting, painting, rubber lining,

8. Co-ordinate with customer, TPI for inspection and ensure compliance.

9. Proper documentation of manufacturing record / quality dossier.

10. Collaborate with production team and provide hands on support to ensure quality at every stage.

11. Maintain record of NCs and its actions.

12. Contribute for continual improvement of system and product.

Requirements:

1. BE/BTech (Mechanical Engineering) with 2-3 years experience OR Diploma with 4-5 years of relevant experience.

2. Experience in similar capacity at process equipment, static equipment, piping systems, pumping systems, manufacturing company.

3. Experience in NDT methods like RT, PT, UT

4. Proficiency in excel, outlook etc.

5. Excellent communication skills with positive attitude.

Additional requirement (preferred )

1. NDT Level II in RT,PT,VT,UT

Working Days : 6 Days Working (Thursday Weekly Off) : 09.30am - 06.30pm
