About the Role

Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management System (QMS):

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in compliance with ISO standards.
  
• Monitor system effectiveness and drive continuous improvements.
  
• Lead internal and external audits (ISO 9001 & other certifications).
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and certification requirements.
  

Quality Assurance & Control:

• Oversee inspection, testing, and monitoring of raw materials and finished goods.
  
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and drive Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
  
• Develop, review, and maintain quality control procedures, documentation, and reports.
  
• Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  

Team Leadership & Training:

• Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team.
  
• Provide training on QMS, quality standards, and best practices.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Purchase, etc.) to meet quality objectives.
  

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive initiatives using

  Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, and Kaizen principles

  .
• Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality.
  
• Foster a culture of proactive problem-solving and operational efficiency.
  

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate quality documentation, procedures, and audit records.
  
• Prepare detailed quality performance reports for senior management.
  
• Ensure proper record-keeping and accessibility of quality-related documents.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Quality / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  
• 810 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing/engineering.
  
• Strong knowledge of

  QMS, ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, RCA

  .
• Proficiency in quality management tools, reporting, and statistical analysis software.
  
• Hands-on experience in conducting internal & external audits.
  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
