Job Purpose:

The Quality Controller will be responsible for ensuring that all jewellery products meet Jewelbox’s quality standards and customer expectations. This role involves inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, and checking finished products for design accuracy, craftsmanship, and compliance with quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming raw materials (gold, diamonds, gemstones, findings, etc.) to ensure they meet company standards.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality parameters, and safety protocols.
• Conduct detailed checks on finished jewellery pieces for defects, finishing, polishing, stone setting, and durability.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, rejections, and corrective actions.
• Work closely with the production and design teams to identify defects and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, industry standards, and hallmarking requirements.
• Develop and update quality control checklists and procedures.
• Train artisans, karigars, and production staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Report recurring issues to management and recommend preventive measures.
• Assist in audits and certifications related to quality assurance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of jewellery making processes (casting, setting, polishing, finishing, plating, etc.).
• Understanding of diamonds and gemstone grading.
• Familiarity with hallmarking and certification standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Problem-solving ability and process improvement mindset.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate/Diploma in Jewellery Design/Manufacturing/Quality Management or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in quality control within the jewellery industry.
• Hands-on experience in handling quality checks of gold, diamond, and gemstone jewellery.
• Knowledge of international quality standards will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
