Accountant Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices and suggesting the financial policies and procedures based on the overall financial status of the organization. Should have hands on experience in any accounting software. Managing and periodically verify the company’s accounts to ensure on-time payment. Calculating taxes and submitting tax returns to comply with the law. Handling and filing returns of ITR, TDS, & GST monthly returns & Annual returns. Maintaining error free financial reports and MIS reports related to the cash in/outflow, accounts payables and receivables. To maintain the accuracy and consistency in the transactions and reconciliations of bank records, ledger and other financial records. Prepare and process the invoice for clients and maintaining the record for an audit trail. Should have the sound knowledge to manage the statutory compliances. Hands-on experience with GST filings and handling ELCOT-related affairs Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements. Secures financial information by completing database backups. Role - Quality Controller Responsibilities: QC Team is responsible for making/updating SOP for all customers. When the customer’s need evolves, the SOP has to be updated annually and issued again. Also they are responsible for the “Standard” folder in which all the customer standard, Detailing standard is kept. It has to be updated as on when required. Also, they have to pic the drawings randomly from each team and check them thoroughly. In the above process, week team will be identified and reported to the Branch Managers. QC team have every right to reject the submittal when it does not meet the standard.
