Quality Control Executive

Job Description: Quality Control Executive (IQC – Components Testing)

Experience: 1 to 3 Years

Role Summary

The Quality Control Executive will be responsible for incoming quality control (IQC) of electronic components, testing & verification, documentation management, and preparation of inspection/test reports. The role involves ensuring all incoming materials meet specifications before release to production.

Key Responsibilities1. Components Testing & Verification

• Perform electronic component testing (resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, semiconductors, etc.).
• Use test instruments such as multimeter, LCR meter, oscilloscope, microscope, ESR meter, etc.
• Verify component values, tolerances, polarity, packaging, and manufacturer specifications.
• Check PCB bare board parameters like dimensions, solderability, hole sizes (if applicable).

2. Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

• Conduct incoming inspection of electronic, mechanical, and plastic components.
• Follow sampling plans, specifications, and company IQC procedures.
• Raise NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) for rejected materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers for replacement or corrective actions.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain:
• IQC inspection reports
• Test reports
• Checklists & test procedures
• Component acceptance/rejection records
• Calibration/verification logs of QC instruments
• Ensure documentation compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF standards.

4. Test Procedure Development

• Create and update test procedures, inspection guidelines, and work instructions.
• Support engineering team in standardizing test methods for new components.

5. Communication & Coordination

• Communicate inspection findings to purchase and production teams.
• Support supplier quality team in resolving component-related issues.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement in IQC processes.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of electronic components and their testing.
• Experience in IQC processes in an EMS or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Ability to prepare formal inspection and test reports.
• Hands-on experience with basic test instruments.
• Understanding of 7 QC Tools (optional but preferred).
• Basic knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001, IPC-A-610 (added advantage).
• Good documentation, analytical, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,114.28 - ₹38,585.25 per month
