Job Description – Quality Control Executive Position: Quality Control (QC) Executive Department: Quality Control / Quality Assurance Location: Satara Plant –Yashraaj Ethenol Processing Pvt. Ltd. Gender Preference: Female Reporting To: QC Manager / QA Manager 1. Job Purpose To ensure that all raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products meet the company’s quality standards and comply with statutory requirements. The QC Executive is responsible for testing, documentation, and maintaining overall product quality. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Laboratory Analysis Conduct routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods . Perform tests such as ABV, pH, viscosity, turbidity, sensory evaluation, chemical analysis , etc. Operate laboratory instruments such as GC, HPLC, UV Spectrophotometer, Alcohol Analyzer, Titration setups , etc. B. Process Control Monitor critical control points during fermentation, distillation, blending, and bottling . Ensure all processes adhere to SOPs and quality guidelines. Identify deviations and report them immediately. C. Documentation & Compliance Maintain lab records, test reports, and logbooks as per ISO, FSSAI, Excise & internal standards . Prepare COAs (Certificate of Analysis) for batches. Ensure compliance with statutory norms and assist during audits. D. Quality Assurance Activities Support in SOP preparation and revision . Participate in internal audits, GMP checks, hygiene inspections , etc. Assist in root-cause analysis and CAPA implementation for quality issues. E. Coordination Coordinate with production, maintenance, dispatch , and other departments for quality-related matters. Communicate quality deviations and suggest corrective actions. F. Safety & Housekeeping Ensure safe handling of chemicals and lab equipment. Maintain cleanliness and proper calibration of instruments. 3. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of chemistry, analytical techniques, and QC procedures . Hands-on experience with QC instruments. Good documentation and report-preparation skills. Problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Knowledge of GMP, ISO, Excise norms , etc. 4. Qualifications & Experience B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry) or equivalent. 1–5 years ’ experience in QC (preferably in liquor / food / beverages / pharma). 5. Key Accountabilities: - Retail Operations Driving & taking effective part in promotional activities like hoarding fixation & advertisement & putting up banners. Ensure that local marketing and promotional activity is consistent with brand image and values. Planning, strategizing and achieving the monthly/annual sales targets in the dedicated territory. Coordination with Back Office/Sales Support team as well as ASM/RM/distributor partners for smooth functioning of supply chain/delivery of products. Checking of payment reconciliation & timely collection/recovery from distributors. Develop, train and manage a team of Promoters/Merchandisers. Monthly Planning & coordination with the ASM/RM & distributor for efficient production. Trade Marketing Execution of consumer marketing plan for strategic customer, targeted consumer group. Support sales forces with well-designed fundamental plan & review the same consistently. Design & get sanctioned promotional activities/creatives to Increase the market share from ASM/RM and Marketing Manager Co-ordinate & Handle POP vendors. Channel Management Establish strategic alliances / coordination with partners/distributors, resulting in deeper market penetration. Making sure that corporate guidelines at dealerships are followed to maximize sales and accomplish revenue and collection targets. Making sure that the desired Sales & Marketing strategy and action plan for the channel is consistent with the share and volume objectives of the business.
