QUALITY CHEMIST

Job Title: Quality Chemist (Food & Microbiology) Location: Jandiali near bisleri plant Department: Quality chemist Reporting To: Quality Manager / QA Head Working Hours: 12-hour duty (Shift-based) --- Qualification: B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related field. --- Job Responsibilities: 1. Conduct routine quality checks of raw materials, in-process, and finished food products. 2. Perform microbiological analysis (bacteria, yeast, mold, pathogens) of food samples. 3. Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, GMP and other regulatory standards. 4. Maintain proper documentation, test reports, and records as per QA protocols. 5. Operate and calibrate lab instruments (pH meter, spectrophotometer, incubator, autoclave, etc.). 6. Monitor and enforce hygiene & sanitation practices in production and packaging areas. 7. Assist in root cause analysis of quality deviations / customer complaints. 8. Prepare and maintain SOPs, quality manuals, and audit documentation. 9. Support R&D and production teams with quality-related inputs. 10. Ensure continuous improvement in quality systems and adherence to food safety norms. --- Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of food chemistry and microbiology Familiarity with ISO, HACCP, GMP, FSSAI standards Ability to work in long-hour shifts (12 hours) Good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills Teamwork and coordination with QA, Production, and R&D --- Experience: 0–3 years for entry-level 3+ years for mid-level candidates --- Salary Range: As per industry standards and experience
