Job Title: Quality Chemist Location: jandiali, ludhiana, punjab Department: Quality Control / Quality Assurance Employment Type: Full-Time --- Job Description: We are seeking passionate and detail-oriented Quality Chemists to join our team. The role is open for both fresh graduates eager to start their careers as well as experienced professionals with proven expertise in analytical testing and quality control. Quality Chemist (Food, Beverage & FMCG) – Fresher (0–1 Year Experience) Roles & Responsibilities: Conduct routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, packaging materials, and finished products. Perform physio-chemical tests (pH, TDS, titrations, moisture content, Brix, viscosity, etc.). Support microbiological testing (plate count, yeast & mold, coliform, etc.) under supervision. Maintain lab records, test reports, and ensure accuracy in documentation. Assist in sensory evaluation and product quality checks. Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards. Ensure hygiene, safety, and compliance in the laboratory environment. --- Quality Chemist (Food, Beverage & FMCG) – Experienced (2–5 Years Experience) Roles & Responsibilities: Independently conduct chemical, physical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments (HPLC, GC, Spectrophotometer, Refractometer, Texture Analyzer, etc.). Monitor compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other food safety & regulatory standards. Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis (COA), stability reports, and quality documentation. Investigate deviations, product complaints, and quality issues; perform root cause analysis and corrective action. Conduct shelf-life studies, sensory evaluations, and support new product quality validation. Train junior chemists and technicians in laboratory procedures, safety, and compliance. Support audits (internal, third-party, regulatory) and maintain accurate quality records. Collaborate with production and R&D teams to ensure product consistency and consumer safety. --- Qualifications: Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline. Freshers: Strong academic knowledge with willingness to learn advanced QC practices. Experienced Candidates: Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical/chemical quality control laboratory with sound knowledge of regulatory requirements. --- Key Skills: Good knowledge of analytical chemistry and instrumentation. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulatory standards. Ability to work both independently and in a team. SALARY NEGOTIABLE FOR EXPERIENCE CANDIDATES.
