Quality Assurance Technical Lead

to drive product quality and reliability across our engineering teams. In this role, you'll lead the QA function — designing scalable testing strategies, mentoring team members, and ensuring flawless execution across manual and automated testing processes. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver robust, high-performing software.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and execution of comprehensive QA strategies for web and mobile platforms.
Develop, review, and optimize test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks.
Oversee manual and automated testing processes to ensure product stability and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality benchmarks and resolve defects efficiently.
Ensure thorough regression, functional, and performance testing prior to product releases.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in testing and documentation.
Implement QA process improvements and champion automation initiatives.
Drive continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) testing workflows.
Monitor, document, and report on quality metrics and test coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4-8 years of experience in software testing and QA automation, including at least 2 years in a lead role.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent automation frameworks.
Proficiency in API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Solid understanding of database testing and ability to write SQL queries.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for maintaining high software quality standards.

Nice to Have

Experience implementing QA automation pipelines in DevOps environments.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and performance testing tools.
Exposure to version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
