About the Role

Test Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing across

  web, mobile, and backend systems

  , focusing on functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Act as a

  hands-on contributor

  , while driving organization-level QA initiatives and process improvements.
• Design and execute

  comprehensive test plans, cases, and scenarios

  aligned with business requirements and user stories.
• Perform

  API testing

  using tools such as

  Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Client

  .
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure clear understanding of requirements and test coverage.
• Manage

  multiple concurrent projects

  , adapting quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Conduct

  defect triage meetings

  , track and monitor issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering best practices in testing and documentation.
• Participate actively in

  sprint ceremonies

  (planning, reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups).
• Maintain and manage

  test environments and data

  for consistent, repeatable testing.
• Continuously evaluate and improve

  QA processes, metrics, and tools

  to enhance product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Computer Science, Engineering

  , or a related field.

• 10+ years

  of experience in manual testing, including

  3+ years

  in a lead capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience with

  API testing tools

  (Postman, SoapUI, Rest Client).
• Excellent understanding of

  SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

  .
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as

  Jira, MTM, Quality Center, or Bugzilla

  .
• Exceptional

  analytical, communication, and stakeholder management

  skills.
• Proven ability to manage

  multiple projects and teams

  in a dynamic, startup-like setup.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to

  automation tools and frameworks

  (Selenium, Rest Assured, etc.) is an advantage.
• Experience with

  cross-browser

  and

  mobile app testing

  .

• ISTQB

  or equivalent QA certification.
