Quality Assurance Specialist

Role Overview: As a Quality Assurance Engineer at the company, you will be responsible for ensuring that policies, practices, and procedures are followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders. You will define and implement quality requirements for manufacturing processes, monitor process outcomes, drive improvements, and support R&D projects for successful implementation of new products and manufacturing lines. Additionally, you will establish change management processes, execute Continuous Improvement actions, and participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving product quality. Key Responsibilities: - Involvement in PPAP and supplier development activities, leading cross-functional teams until supplier onboarding in line with global guidelines - Conducting incoming quality inspections, maintaining relevant data and records, and supporting suppliers in improving their QMS and rejection rates - Developing and implementing quality assurance strategies and plans to enhance production quality, efficiency, and effectiveness - Establishing standards and specifications for manufacturing/assembly processes and providing internal reporting on quality assurance activities - Using data-driven insights for decision-making and implementing necessary process improvements - Conducting training programs and workshops to promote quality awareness among manufacturing personnel - Collaborating with manufacturing teams to address customer-specific quality requirements and analyzing customer feedback for improvement areas - Participating in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and work instructions to mitigate process risks - Conducting process audits, inspections, and risk assessments for manufacturing/assembly processes to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines Qualifications Required: - Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical engineering - 6-8 years of relevant experience in quality & testing processes for bushing or any transformers - Experience in Bushings or transformers will be an added advantage - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language (Note: The additional details of the company were not present in the provided job description),
