Job title: Associate IT Engineer - QE

As an Associate IT Engineer - QE, your main responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of software products and services delivered by the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Implementation of quality control procedures:

You will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures that ensure that all software products and services meet the company's quality standards.

• This may involve contribution to test plans, authoring test cases, and test scenarios to ensure the software meets the functional and non-functional requirements.
• Authoring automation framework libraries, scripts, and reusable functions.
• Script reviews and feedback to closure.
• Collaborate with the development team: You will work closely with the development team to identify quality problems and implement solutions. You will also provide guidance and training to development personnel on quality control procedures.
• Perform manual and automated testing: You will perform manual and automated testing of software products and services to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. This may involve running functional tests, performance tests, security tests, and other types of tests as required.
• Maintain quality documentation: You will maintain documentation of quality control procedures, test results, and corrective actions taken. You will also ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives: You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that increase software quality and efficiency.

Overall, as a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products and services delivered by the organization, while also ensuring compliance with regulations and driving continuous improvement.

Skills & Requirements

• Responsible for full lifecycle testing activities (manual/auto, API and DB testing) of applications based on defined requirements.
• Good command over the Quality processes.
• Responsible for developing test cases
• Strong in Manual/Automation testing
• Client and internal interaction for requirement clarifications, testing-related discussions, issue/defect resolution, and work status discussions.
• Experience in Database (SQL) testing, API testing, and good command over quality processes.
• Knowledge in Automation (Preferred Selenium and BDD).
• Good to have Experience in other tools like UiPath, Python etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-4 years of experience in software testing concepts
• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing phases.
