Quality Assurance Engineer - Java/Selenium

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our product development team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.

Responsibilities

You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver bug-free, high-quality software that meets customer Responsibilities :

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
• Perform manual and automated testing for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features and provide feedback on quality and usability.
• Participate in requirements reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions.
• Help maintain and improve automated test frameworks and tools.
• Ensure that software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
• Analyze test results and report on test coverage, defects, and overall product quality.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software Skills and Qualifications :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with manual testing as well as automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit).
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
