Quality Assurance Engineer Intern

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive manual testing of our web and mobile applications.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and usability issues.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
• Analyze system requirements and specifications to ensure test coverage.
• Monitor and report on quality assurance metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to resolve issues and ensure timely releases.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test logs and reports.
• Perform API testing and mobile app testing.
• Review user documentation and help files to guarantee accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of manual testing principles and practices.
• In-depth knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Solid understanding of various testing methodologies and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with API testing and mobile application testing.
• ISTQB certification (a plus).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (BE/B.Tech/MCA).
