Quality Assurance Architect

As a QA Architect at TestGrid, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and evolution of quality assurance processes, frameworks, and strategies to ensure the scalability, reliability, and effectiveness of our QA infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in helping teams deliver high-quality software products. Your key responsibilities will include defining and maintaining the overall test architecture and QA strategy for complex software systems, designing and implementing automation frameworks for functional, performance, and regression testing, and collaborating with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure testability and continuous integration across all platforms. You will introduce best practices in software quality engineering, evaluate testing tools and technologies for quality improvement and efficiency, build metrics and reporting mechanisms to track quality KPIs, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA engineers. Additionally, you will own the roadmap for quality assurance initiatives, participate in code reviews and architecture discussions, and drive continuous improvement for issues identified in production environments. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 10+ years of experience in QA, including at least 3 years in a QA Architect or Lead role. You should have proven expertise in building test automation frameworks, strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems, experience with API and performance testing tools, and a solid understanding of software architecture, microservices, and cloud platforms. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools is a plus, and you should possess strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. This full-time position is based in Surat, Gujarat, with flexibility required for IST & USA shifts. The salary range is as per market standards.
