Role DescriptionDepartmentThe University of York’s School for Business and Society brings together expertise from management, social policy, and related disciplines to deliver innovative teaching, impactful research and meaningful public engagement. We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Quality Assurance Administrator to join our Quality Assurance and Accreditation team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the School’s programmes and to play a key role in maintaining our international accreditations.Role

As Our Quality Assurance Administrator, You Will

  • Provide administrative support for quality assurance processes, including programme approval, annual monitoring, and review.
  • Support the preparation and submission of documentation for external professional and statutory body accreditations (e.g. AACSB, PSRBs).
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Act as a first point of contact for staff on quality assurance matters, providing clear and timely guidance.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance Officer, academic colleagues, and professional services staff to support continuous improvement and enhance the student experience.
  • This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexibly both independently and as part of a team.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Needed

  • Accurately record, analyse, interpret and report information/data
  • Use digital technologies including Google applications and/or Microsoft Office
  • Communicate effectively in verbal and written formats
  • Work collaboratively with others
