About the Role

QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using
Playwright
.
Write, execute, and maintain automation test scripts in
JavaScript/TypeScript
.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Perform functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing.
Identify, log, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.
Drive best practices in automation testing and mentor junior QA engineers when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

5–7 years of professional experience in QA Automation.
Strong hands-on experience in
Playwright
automation.
Proficiency in
JavaScript/TypeScript
for test automation.
Good knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
Familiarity with API testing (REST/GraphQL) is a plus.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

Experience with other automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
