Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced QlikSense Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using QlikSense. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data visualization, data modeling, and dashboard creation to help business users make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy QlikSense dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop data models, load scripts, and data visualizations to represent key business metrics.
- Optimize QlikSense applications for performance and usability.
- Perform data analysis to understand trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Maintain and enhance existing QlikSense applications.
- Implement data security measures and access controls as per organizational policies.
- Work closely with Data Engineering and Data Warehousing teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any QlikSense related issues.
- Provide end-user support and training on QlikSense dashboards and reports.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a QlikSense Developer or similar BI Developer role.
- Strong hands-on experience in developing QlikSense dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Good knowledge of Qlik scripting for data loading, transformations, and data modeling.
- Experience with data integration from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, etc.).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, star schema, and data modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with other BI tools (QlikView, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- QlikSense Certification is a plus.
- Experience in working with large datasets and optimizing application performance.
- Knowledge of database systems like SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
