Job Title: QC Incharge

Location: Ambattur Industrial Estate

Department: Quality Control

Job Summary:

The QC Incharge will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all products — including medical supplies, customized gifting items, and packaging — meets company and regulatory standards. The role involves implementing inspection processes, identifying quality issues, and coordinating with production, design, and dispatch teams to maintain consistent product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Establish and implement quality control procedures for incoming materials, in-process production, and final products.
2. Inspect medical and corporate gifting products for defects, branding accuracy, labeling, and packaging quality.
3. Verify that all medical items meet compliance, hygiene, and safety standards.
4. Ensure corporate gifting products match client specifications (logo, color, print, finish, etc.).
5. Maintain records of inspection reports, rejections, and corrective actions.
6. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material quality verification.
7. Train and guide production staff on quality standards and handling.
8. Work closely with the operations team to identify and eliminate recurring quality issues.
9. Approve final product batches before dispatch.
10. Conduct random audits and suggest improvements in quality and process efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Science, Engineering, or relevant field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QC (preferably in medical, FMCG, or gifting industry).

Strong knowledge of product inspection, packaging standards, and material quality.

Familiarity with ISO / GMP quality systems (added advantage).

Attention to detail, good communication, and reporting skills.

Ability to multitask and manage a team of QC inspectors.
